2017 Project Navigate Challenge

  • Back for a second rocking year, Outdoor Rec, Project Navigate, and REI are hosting the Project Navigate Challenge. Test your land navigation skills against fellow UA Students and the greater Tucson community! All you need is a team of three, compass or GPS, and a sense of adventure. The winners will receive a trophy and there will also be giveaways!

  • The Navigate Challenge is a point to point navigation race in Madera Canyon. The competition area will be seeded with point locations. Teams or individuals will navigate to as many points as possible within the two-hour time limit. The points will be worth various point values based on distance from start and difficulty to collect. The team with the most points at the end will be the winner, with shortest time being the tie breaker.
