What to expect from Arizona Intramural SPORTS
The Intramural Sports program is designed to allow students, faculty and staff an outlet for relaxation, exercise, social interaction and friendly competition. Intramural Sports is a unique opportunity for members of the University of Arizona community to participate in more than 20 different sports leagues and tournaments throughout the year. Individuals of varying skill levels and experience are welcomed to join.
Choosing the Right League
There are a variety of league divisions to choose from, including: Men’s, Women’s, CoRec, Greek and Open. In addition, there are two difficulty levels:
Recreational: This is a league that emphasizes having fun. It is meant for participants with newly acquired skills or no experience with the sport.
Competitive: This is a league that emphasizes determining a champion. It is meant for skilled participants who value the competition vs. the social aspect of participation.
We strongly encourage all who play Intramural Sports to participate in the appropriate level of play for their skill set.
