Adult Swim Lessons- Beginner
The Adult Beginner class is designed for participants who have very little or no swimming experience and may be uncomfortable in the water. The course will provide instruction in basic water skills including comfortable entry, submersion, floating, breathing techniques, and an introduction to basic swimming strokes. The course is intended to help participants gain confidence and self-reliance in the water.
Due the Labor Day weekend and UA football home schedule, each session varies in class count. The price of each session reflects the amount of classes offered. During inclement weather, lessons could be delayed up to 15 minutes. After 15 minutes past the start time the lesson will be cancelled and will be made up on the next available regularly scheduled class session. We offer 1 make up day per 4 classes of each session.
Please Note: Our swim lesson program progresses participants through the learning process of swimming. Participants will start at their entry level and after successfully completing a skill checklist can progress to the next level. Each participant learns at their own rate and repeating a level is normal for the learning process of swimming. Instructors are able to make accommodations to suit a variety of skills and abilities, please contact Jaclyn Pryor for more information. 520-621-0473
