The University of Arizona Synchronized Swimming is a highly competitive collegiate club team. Practicing throughout the Fall semester, they compete in 4-6 meets during the Spring semester, including Collegiate Nationals in March. We have a wide variety of skill levels on our team, ranging from beginners all the way to athletes that have 15 years of experience. We are looking to grow our team, and do not hold tryouts to be a part of our team. We do, however, assign routines based on commitment and skill levels. We practice 3-4 times each week at the University of Arizona Campus Recreation pool.
We require all athletes to be a student at the University of Arizona and have at least a 2.0 GPA.
Dues will vary each year, they are based heavily on travel costs to Collegiate Nationals. Athletes should expect around $1000 (or less) each year.
We have team equipment including: underwater speaker and sound system. Athletes that compete are required to purchase certain team apparel and a weight belt for training.
