  • Elevator unavailable at Rec Center through Summer

  • Locker Rooms Closed for Summer

    The locker rooms are closed throughout the summer for renovation. Temporary shower trailers on the pool deck and day lockers are available.
  • Changes to Pool's Summer Closing Hours: Now 8pm on Fri/Sat/Sun

    The Rec Pool will close at 8pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during the summer; pool will remain open to 9pm Monday-Thursday.
  • Rec's Memorial Day Hours: 6a-8p

    The Rec Center will close early on Memorial Day at 8p (pool @ 7:30p).

Are you ready to make some life changes? If you are ready to set and achieve goals, the Personal Trainers at the University of Arizona are ready to help. All of our Personal Trainers hold nationally accredited certifications, CPR,/AED, and First Aid Certifications.  Our trainers are here to help you learn, grow, achieve goals, and change for the better. Whether you need motivation, guidance, or just someone to push you, we can help!

Programs Available:

  • Have more questions?. Are you interested in starting a personal training program, but have some questions before you commit?  Email the Fitness and Wellness team to get your questions answered.     • 60 minute Individual Personal Training is available in packages of 1, 5, 10, 15, or 20.
    • 30 minute Individual Personal Training is available in packages of 5 or 10.
    • 60 minute Buddy Personal Training is available in packages 5, 10, 15, 20
    • 60 minute Small Group Personal Training is available in packages 5, 10, 15, 20

Register for Personal Training

  • Assessments: With the purchase of any package for Personal Training, your first session will be a Fitness Assessment to fit your needs and goals. This is the best way for the Trainer to get to know you, your goals, and your current physical activity level so that they can best plan your program for the future. 

  • Meet A Trainer: Every Tuesday during the semester from 6-7 pm a Personal Trainer is available for quick assessments or to answer any questions about your fitness. Visit the Trainer located at the entrance of the weight room each week! 

Individuals who are interested in Personal Training packages can sign up on the website, at the Front Desk, or at the registration office. New Clients will be automatically sent healthy history information to thoroughly complete and send to the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness. Health history information will give clients an opportunity to ask questions, address concerns, and make a preference on their personal trainer.  All sessions will be scheduled between the client and Personal Trainer within 24 hours after returning the health history information. We look forward to working with you along your fitness journey to meet your goals and find the best version of you!
