Spend a fun-filled evening at the Outdoor Rec Bouldering Wall testing yourself on new problems, hanging out with other Tucson climbers, and competing for sweet SWAG! In addition to new problems set exclusively for this event, there will be free food, great music, and prize drawings.

This competition is a modified redpoint format, with the holds of each problem marked with an increasing point value the further the hold. Each competitor will climb with other climbers in their division (Recreational or Advanced). Only problems from your division will be counted toward your final score. Each competitor will have 1 ½ hours to compete and complete as many problems as they can. There will be a maximum of 5 attempts for each problem. Each problem will be tracking only (only parts of the wall that are marked for use). $20 Members

The Adult Advanced class is designed for participants who are confident in their swimming ability level in any water depth, and are interested in refining their stroke techniques and improving their endurance. This class focuses on the four competitive swimming strokes, and teaches methods for increased efficiency and speed in the water. Participants are also introduced to the basics of planning workouts.

Please Note: Our swim lesson program progresses participants through the learning process of swimming.  Participants will start at their entry level and after successfully completing a skill checklist can progress to the next level.  Each participant learns at their own rate and repeating a level is normal for the learning process of swimming.  Instructors can provide a variety of accommodations to suit a variety of skills and abilities. The Adult Intermediate class is designed for participants who are comfortable swimming in shallow water and have experience swimming in deep water. The course is designed to provide participants the ability to swim distances greater than 25 yards comfortably using more than one defined swimming stroke. Parent & Child swim lessons are created for children ages 6 months to 3 years.  Participants will enjoy the many water readiness activities provided by our instructors. This is one of the most important skills every child should master - feeling safe in the water. Children progress from water adjustment to basic skills while working with parents.  Parent/ guardian must be in the water with the child.

AquaCub swimming lessons include a variety of activities including direct and indirect teaching techniques.  Each 30 minute lesson can be observed to include the following components:

  • Welcome & Water Safety topic
  • Water Warm-up
  • Review Skills- taught through games and drills
  • New Skills- taught through games and drills
  • Games & Drills- to reinforce learned skills

Stand-Up Paddleboard Fit (SUP-Fit) will use the paddle board and water to take you through a cardio and strength training full body workout. Don't think you have good balance? That’s okay!
