Do you have a middle school student interested in science, technology, or math? Are they interested in teaching or helping others? Nursing may be their career path! Registered Nurses provide care for patients in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, homes, clinics, helicopters, planes, and in disaster locations. Nurses are always in demand and have opportunities to work anywhere in the country. Join Banner University Medical Center - Tucson Campus for Camp Scrubs, for a week-long look at the many roles in which nurses function while caring for patients. Campers will shadow nurses on patient care units and learn about the important work nurses do. They will learn first-aid skills and become certified in CPR. What an exciting way to spend a summer week! Camp Scrubs is available for grades 7-8 and is located at the Banner University Medical Center - Tucson Campus.
Camp Scrubs is Monday through Friday, June 3-7, from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
