UA SCUBA Diving Program - Summer/Fall 2018
Learn to SCUBA dive! This instructional class will meet evenings for classroom and pool sessions at the Student Recreation Center. National Association of Underwater Instructors "NAUI" certification referral will be awarded upon successful completion of the course, and participants will be able to complete their certification with an open water dive trip of their choice. No previous SCUBA experience required, however basic swimming skills are necessary to complete the course.
"Aside from why it's offered, I think scuba diving is also a very relaxing time. Whether you are a student here who has a ton on their plate or a faculty member dealing with a lot of work, the beauty of scuba is once you are 30 feet below, you can't hear anyone talk." - Andrew Huff, Assistant Director of Outdoor Rec
