Inclusivity Statement for Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. We believe a healthy, active and engaged lifestyle is a right afforded to everyone. To that end, we are committed to equal opportunity and inclusion for all people regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or genetic information. Please join us in living these values.

Diversity & Inclusion advisory group

In 2017 & 2018, Campus Recreation worked with a group of key players/stakeholders representing many on-campus organizations to discuss how to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. Through various focus groups, we learned about the obstacles and solutions to achieve a truly welcoming environment for students, faculty/staff and visitors. Strategies discussed and implemented to date are listed below.
