Marybeth Idoux joined the University of Arizona in the fall of 2014 with over 30 years of experience in aquatics, health and wellness. Marybeth oversees the Aquatic department for Campus Recreation. This includes aquatic operations, pool mechanics, staffing and aquatic programs.

Prior to joining the University of Arizona, Marybeth worked at the YMCA’s in Colorado for 13 years as an Aquatic and Fitness Director. Prior to the YMCA she coached college track & field at the University of Michigan, University of Colorado and the University of Kansas. Marybeth received her bachelor’s in Exercise Science and her master’s degree in Sports Studies from the University of Kansas.

When not on campus, you can find Marybeth biking, hiking with her dog or coaching athletes of all ages to become the best they can be.
