Ivan’s 40- year career has spanned Military, Carpentry, Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale, and Private Business. Ivan served two years of active duty in the Air Force followed by six years of Air National Guard and Reserve service. His military service began as a member of the Structural Maintenance and Repair Team, with the Davis Monthan Air Force Base Carpenter shop.  He studied at the University of Wisconsin and then spent seven years with Manitowoc Grey Iron Foundry, where he was the Traffic Manager, and Cleaning Room Foreman. Ivan spent 11 years in retail flooring and furniture where assignments ranged from Customer Service Manager, Installation Manager, Sales Manager, Store Manager, and New Construction Account Manager.  He left retail for wholesale and was the Southern AZ Territorial Manager for L D Brinkman Dist. 10 years of private business fixing and remodeling homes.

Ivan joined The University of Arizona Campus Recreation Team in October of 2011. In his current position, Ivan provides support for all Campus Recreation programs and facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to painting, light repairs, equipment maintenance, pool operations, and overall go-to guy for any other departmental needs.
