Advanced Scuba Diver
This course allows individuals to learn about specialties and diving activities of particular interest. Your confidence and skill as a diver will increase while you experience the excitement of learning more about the underwater world.
During training, students complete a minimum of six open-water dives, including three separate dives for navigation, night or low visibility diving, and deep diving (130 feet/40 meters of maximum depth), plus three additional dives based on your individual preferences and available options.
Advanced Scuba Course Open Water Check-Out Dives
This trip is for Advanced SCUBA Students that have completed their Class and Pool Sessions and want to finish their Certification.
You will be responsible for your own equipment*, transportation, lodging and food.
*Special $60 weekend rental rate when UA SCUBA Students rent their scuba equipment from Outdoor Rec for this checkout dive!
REQUIRED PRECOURSE WORK: Students will be required to work independently online using the NAUI CORE education system before the checkout weekend.
REQUIRED PRE-TRIP EVALUATION: Saturday, November 2nd. 8AM-Noon. UA Pool.
You must have completed the Classroom and Confined Water portions of the Advanced Diver Course.
Before participating in this activity, you are required to attend a mandatory introductory meeting.
