Student Assessments

Evaluation of the department's impact on recruitment and retention, health and wellness, and other outcomes linked to healthy lifestyles and student engagement as determined by a web-based survey conducted by Student Affairs Assessment & Research Office in October 2012.The results are summarized in the Executive Summary below.

Executive Summary

Campus Recreation administered a survey in Fall 2015 to better understand student use, needs and interests regarding recreation services and impact of Campus Recreation on health and wellness.  The survey was emailed to a random sample of University of Arizona Students resulting in 2,410 respondents producing a 24% response rate.  The highlights of the results are summarized in the infographic and Executive Summary below.

Faculty / Staff Assessment

The participation levels and interests of faculty and staff members in facilities, programs and services offered by the Department of Campus Recreation was measured in a campus-wide assessment in October 2013. Input was sought on perceived constraints to participation as well as different activity and membership interests.  The results are summarized in the Executive Summary below.
