Camp Architecture

Camp Architecture is a specially designed five-day summer camp geared toward students interested in the field of architecture. Participants learn to draw by hand and on the computer, construct models in the CAPLA Materials Lab, test structural models, and learn about careers in sustainability and in the design field. Led by registered architects and CAPLA faculty members, Valerie Lane and Eduardo Guerrero; this camp offers aspiring young architects a unique glimpse into the world of design. At Camp Architecture, young scholars work with practicing architects and architecture students, they’ll learn to use real tools, work with real materials, and experience real buildings.

Designed for middle school and high school students, each session is a sequence of highly orchestrated workshops.  Returning campers are welcome and will be offered a unique experience that immerses them further into the design process. 25% discount for UA Faculty and Staff.
