Trip Information: 

Another trip made possible by the National Park Trust's College Ambassador program! This time, join Outdoor Recreation and the Sonora Weedwackers as we help to beautify one of Tucson's most majestic city parks: The Tucson Mountain Park. This excursion involves removal of buffelgrass (an invasive species) and enjoying the beautiful winter weather in the Tucson Mountains. Join us after the buffelgrass removal for a free Sonoran Desert Museum tour! This trip is FREE and a great way to keep Tucson's parks beautiful. Everyone who participates will receive a FREE Hydroflask thanks to the National Park Trust! 

Approximate time of departure from Outdoor Recreation: 7:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21st, 2025

Approximate time of arrival back at Outdoor Recreation: 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21st, 2025 (if joining for Desert Museum Tour)

Tucson Mountains: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Optional Desert Museum Tour: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.
