Getting There
All Campus Recreation facilities — South Rec, North Rec and Bear Down Rec—provide individuals with adaptive needs access to entry ramps and door openers, compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. In addition, all facilities have accessible private changing rooms with shower and transfer benches, while South Rec and North Rec have a designated number of accessible parking spaces.

The swimming pool at South Rec has hand rails and aquatic lifts.
Equipment
All facilities have adequate space between workout stations to ensure ease of navigation and a variety of equipment specifically designed for wheelchair users.

Athletic Opportunities
The University’s Disability Resource Center Adaptive Athletics supports seven competitive teams in men’s and ladies’ basketball, golf, handcycling, rugby, tennis and track & field in partnership with Campus Recreation.
