This well-being and self-efficacy focused workshop will explore the science behind why resistance training is so important and what physical adaptations occur as a result of consistent strength training. This workshop will also bring you onto the weight room floor to practice technique and gain an orientation to the weight room, which is often described as "intimidating." This workshop will be in four parts focusing on each individual foundational lift, but can be attended based on the individuals training desires and needs.
