All Campus Recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume summer operating hours on Tuesday, May 26.
North Rec will be closed for routine cleaning from Monday, May 25 through Friday, May 29.
We appreciate your patience as we complete this work to keep our facility clean and safe. North Rec will reopen with summer hours on Saturday, May 30.
The South Rec's Men’s Locker Room and West Side Cabanas are currently unavailable due to emergency plumbing repairs.
Access to currently rented lockers remains available in a limited capacity; however, access may be temporarily restricted during active repair work.
Individuals interested in relocating their lockers during this time may contact crec-membership@arizona.edu to schedule the process.

The University of Arizona Recreation & Wellness Center at Honors Village (otherwise known as North Rec) opened on August 26, 2019 as part of a new mixed use complex on the northern end of campus. The complex also includes a 1000+ bed dormitory/apartment building, an integrated dining hall, Honors College offices & indoor/outdoor classrooms, and a satellite location for Campus Health Service’s Counseling & Psych Services (CAPS) clinic.

Monday–Thursday: 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Friday: 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
The NorthREC is approximately 52,000 sq. ft., with 40,000 sq. ft. of new recreational space. The building is 3 stories and includes both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Parking facilities include a new parking garage and surface lot.
