All Campus Recreation facilities will be closed on Saturday, July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!
Weekend summer hours will resume on Sunday, July 5th.
The recreation area in Bear Down will be closed on Wednesday, July 1 and Thursday, July 2 for routine cleaning.
Please note: The Bear Down building will remain open and all other areas of the facility will continue to operate as normal.

The University of Arizona Recreation & Wellness Center at Honors Village (otherwise known as North Rec) opened on August 26, 2019 as part of a new mixed use complex on the northern end of campus. The complex also includes a 1000+ bed dormitory/apartment building, an integrated dining hall, Honors College offices & indoor/outdoor classrooms, and a satellite location for Campus Health Service’s Counseling & Psych Services (CAPS) clinic.

Saturday–Sunday: 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
The NorthREC is approximately 52,000 sq. ft., with 40,000 sq. ft. of new recreational space. The building is 3 stories and includes both indoor and outdoor spaces.
Parking facilities include a new parking garage and surface lot.
