The University of Arizona’s Outdoor Recreation team is proud to host this year’s Western Regional Outdoor Leadership Conference (WROLC), an exciting and impactful gathering of student leaders from across the western United States.

WROLC is a collaborative initiative organized by universities committed to outdoor leadership and education. Held annually, this event brings together college outdoor programs from across the West—including Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, and beyond—to provide a budget-friendly, professional development experience. The conference is designed specifically for student leaders in outdoor programming, offering them the chance to build connections, gain hands-on knowledge, and prepare for careers in the outdoor and experiential education fields.

Throughout the multi-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on workshops, engaging presentations, and immersive outdoor activities. The conference is designed to help students build and strengthen leadership skills, increase their outdoor knowledge and technical abilities, and foster a sense of community and connection among peers who are equally passionate about the outdoors.

Whether you're looking to grow as a leader, expand your outdoor competencies, or simply connect with like-minded individuals, WROLC offers an unforgettable experience that supports your development both personally and professionally.
