Campus Rec facilities will be closed for Thanksgiving Break
South Rec closes Wednesday 11/26 at 7:00 P.M. and will reopen Saturday 11/29 at 8:00 A.M.
North Rec closes Wednesday 11/26 at 7:00 P.M. and will reopen Saturday 11/29 at 8:00 A.M.
Bear Down Rec closes Wednesday 11/26 at 7:00 P.M and will reopen Sunday 11/30 at 11:00 A.M.
Locker Rooms and Cabanas
SouthREC (main) facility
The Locker Rooms/Cabanas are located on the 1st floor of the Student Recreation Center at the intersection of the main hallway. In order to create an inclusive and accessible locker room, Campus Recreation worked with the UA Disability Resource Center and other campus groups to meet the needs of all members of The University of Arizona community.
The locker room underwent a complete renovation in 2017 as part of a "Building Wellness for Life" campaign. Prior to the renovation, the locker rooms had remained nearly unchanged for 27 years, since the opening of the Rec Center in 1990.
