Troy comes to the U of A from Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he was the Director of Recreational Sports and Services for six years. Prior to that, he directed the department of Recreation Services at Southeast Missouri State from 2005-2012. A graduate of Franklin College (IN) with a journalism degree and Indiana University for his Master of Science degree, Vaughn is living in Tucson with his wife Thresa and their two Chihuahua’s Zoey and Cooper.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, Vaughn is an avid Indy Colts fan and racing ran.
