South Rec will be closing at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23 for Bash at the Rec. The pool will be closing at 4:00 p.m. & North Rec & Bear Down Rec will REMAIN open.
Bear Down Rec will remain on break hours through Sunday, August 23.
South Rec and North Rec will return to regular hours on Monday, August 17, as planned.
Ultimate Frisbee (Women's)
The U of A Women’s Ultimate team is a proud member of the University of Arizona’s intercollegiate club sports program, which boasts over 30 clubs and 1,000 participants. As a university-recognized and student-run organization, U of A Women’s Ultimate provides opportunities for young women to develop leadership skills, participate in competitive athletic events, and travel throughout the southwestern United States. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to compete in tournaments in California, Texas, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. In addition to promoting positive sportsmanship and a healthy, active lifestyle, U of A Women’s Ultimate fosters academic excellence.
Requirements
- Regularly attend practices
- Participate in tournaments and fundraising efforts
- Display good sportsmanship
- Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
