Women's Initiative in Leadership Outdoors (WILO)

The WILO program is a spring adventure series built to ignite confidence, community, and leadership in the outdoors for female identifying participants. From paddling to climbing and a transformative multi-day backpacking expedition, participants will jump into unforgettable hands-on experiences. Customized workshops shaped by the group’s interests dive into everything from essential hard skills and wilderness medicine to trip planning, confidence building, and navigating values-based conflict. Along the way, the group will explore what it means to be a woman in the outdoors, strengthen resilience, practice true expedition behavior, and build powerful mentorship connections and lifelong friendships.  All workshops will be held dependent on the participants schedules, so dates are not firm. Trip dates are firm.
