Congratulations to Aaron, our Student Employee of the Month!

Aaron is majoring in Aerospace Engineering and is set to graduate in December 2027. He is an important part of our Aquatics team, serving as a Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, and Aquatics Supervisor.

Aaron was drawn to Campus Rec because of his love for being around the pool and his appreciation for the Rec’s mission of providing a safe and welcoming space for people to stay active. He also values the flexibility of working on campus while balancing his academics. His favorite part of working at Campus Rec is the people and community. Through his role, Aaron has had the opportunity to connect with students across campus, build relationships with coworkers, and be part of a variety of Campus Rec events.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys swimming, playing soccer, and building rockets.

Looking ahead, Aaron hopes to pursue a career in space mechanics or space systems, with the goal of helping develop satellites and rovers. Ultimately, he hopes to see his work make it all the way to space!
