University of Arizona Men's Lacrosse Recruiting Process
The University of Arizona Men's Lacrosse program typically recruits 10–14 players per incoming class.
Prospective student-athletes are identified through a variety of channels, including:
- Direct outreach from players
- Recommendations from high school or college coaches
- Evaluation at recruiting showcases, camps, and tournaments
When a player's skill level, character, and overall fit align with the program's expectations, they may be considered for a recruiting offer.
Players who accept a recruiting offer will receive a formal offer letter and secure a roster position with the team. Recruited players are exempt from the fall tryout process and are guaranteed a place on the roster.
All other players interested in joining the program will participate in fall tryouts as walk-on candidates and must earn a roster spot through the evaluation process.
