Welcome to Aquatics!

Dive in. Make a splash. It's time to get wet. SouthREC's outdoor pool and pool deck are the place to be. Take advantage of our youth and adult swim lessons; American Red Cross certifications in lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid; or better yet, get in some laps.

Come to have fun. The pool is home to Campus REC's club sport water polo, synchronized swimming and TriCats; plus you can join an intramural pool basketball team, try your hand (or feet) at log rolling, get SCUBA certified, do some slack lining, attend a "dive-in" movie or just lounge around on the pool deck.

Campus Recreation Pool Closure for Exciting Upgrades

We are thrilled to announce that our Campus Recreation Pool is getting a major facelift to enhance your experience. To make these improvements, the pool will be temporarily closed beginning Friday, November 29, 2024 and will reopen late January 2025. Annual and semester pass holders who have a pass valid for any time during closure will have 60 days added to their expiration date! Here is what you can look forward to:

• Complete pool resurfacing for a smoother, safer swim
• Repaired and resurfaced pool deck to improve comfort and durability
• Color-changing LED lights for a dynamic atmosphere during evening hours
• New LED display board for up-to-date programming and announcements

Swim at the YMCA During Closure

The Lohse YMCA in downtown Tucson will offer Campus Recreation members access to its facilities during the pool renovation. Parking is not provided.

To enter, show a driver's license or CAT card and mention you're from Campus Recreation to use the pool. You will be asked to sign a waiver for their facility.

Weekly Pool Reservations

Aquatics posts weekly reservations on the pool deck each Monday through the following Monday. Additionally, reservations are posted online for you to check prior to coming to the facility.

*If a date does not appear within the posting schedule, there are no scheduled reservations for that day. Please note that this schedule is subject to change.
