South Rec
South Rec (Student Recreation Center), home to the Department of Campus Recreation, is located at the corner of E. 6th Street and Highland Avenue. The facility serves as a recreation and wellness hub for the University of Arizona community, offering programs and services in six main areas: Fitness & Wellness, Sports Programs, Outdoor Recreation & Challenge Course, Aquatics, Activity Classes, and Youth Programs.

Facility Space
South Rec is approximately 136,000 square feet and features a variety of indoor and outdoor recreation spaces.
Parking is available in a nearby parking garage and surface lots.
Amenities
South Rec is comprised of two floors:
- First Floor: ShakeSmart, restrooms, fitness equipment, locker rooms, cabanas, rock climbing wall & two multipurpose sports courts.
- Second Floor: business office, conference rooms, lounge, restrooms, squash courts & fitness class spaces.
Member Access
South Rec serves students and Campus Recreation members on the south side of campus.
- Students: Access is included through the Health & Recreation Fee, with no additional charge to use South Rec.
- Faculty & Staff: Membership options are available on the Membership page.
A valid U of A CatCard is required for facility entry.
