South Rec will be closing at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23 for Bash at the Rec. The pool will be closing at 4:00 p.m. & North Rec & Bear Down Rec will REMAIN open.

Bear Down Rec will remain on break hours through Sunday, August 23.

South Rec and North Rec will return to regular hours on Monday, August 17, as planned.

What To Expect:

This horseback riding experience at Boomerang Riding Adventures offers a relaxed 1 hour ride through scenic desert landscapes, perfect for beginners and those new to riding. Participants can expect to receive basic riding instruction and guidance before heading out on the trail at a calm, steady pace. After the ride, the group will head out for tacos to wrap up the day-participants should plan to pay for their own meal. No prior riding experience is required, but comfort being around horses and spending time outdoors is important. This outing is a fun way to enjoy the desert, try something new, and connect over good food afterward.
