What To Expect:
Unwind from the busy pace of campus life with a relaxing evening of creativity and mountain views on Mount Lemmon. This micro-adventure combines art, nature, and community as we head up the mountain to paint, enjoy warm beverages, and take in the cooler temperatures and beautiful scenery.
No artistic experience is necessary! Outdoor Recreation staff will provide painting supplies and simple guidance to help you create your own masterpiece while enjoying the peaceful setting. Participants are encouraged to get creative, have fun, and enjoy the process rather than focus on creating a perfect painting. As you paint, you'll be able to sip on a variety of beverages, such as hot chocolate, tea (create your own blend!), cider, or coffee, while taking in the fresh mountain air.
Expect a laid-back atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to relax, connect with others and appreciate the beauty of Mount Lemmon. This trip involves minimal physical activity and is perfect for beginners looking for a low-key outdoor experience. Be sure to bring a light jacket, as temperatures on the mountain are often cooler than in Tucson.
Whether you're looking to try something new, de-stress, or simply enjoy a scenic morning with friends, this creative micro-adventure offers a unique way to experience the outdoors.
