What To Expect:

The Classic Cave Tour at Colossal Cave is a guided, walking tour through a natural limestone cave system. Participants can expect paved walkways, stairs, and uneven surfaces as they explore underground chambers and learn about the cave’s history and geology. The tour moves at a steady pace with frequent stops.

Closed-toe shoes are required, and a light jacket is recommended as the cave stays cool year-round. Lighting is provided, and no special gear or prior experience is needed. Restrooms and facilities are available at the visitor center, and cell service may be limited inside the cave.

Location:

Outdoor Recreation has its own dedicated entrance at South Rec on 7th Street.
