What To Expect:
The Tumamoc Hill Hike is a short ( 3 miles, 4.8 km round trip) but challenging desert walk on a paved road with steady uphill climbing and wide-open views of Tucson. Participants can expect a consistent incline, sun exposure, and little shade, making it a great workout despite the relatively short distance. The pace will be steady with opportunities to pause, hydrate, and enjoy panoramic city and mountain views. Comfortable walking shoes, sun protection, and plenty of water are important. This hike is ideal for those looking for a quick, rewarding hike with iconic Tucson scenery. After the Hike, we will take a stop at Sonoran Delights, where participants will have the chance to purchase whatever they would like with their own money. No food is included in this program.
