What To Expect:
This walk at Danny Lopez Park pairs a relaxed outdoor stroll with the chance to spend time with PACC shelter dogs. Most dogs will be medium to large sized, and PACC staff will begin the outing by teaching basic dog handling skills, including leash control, reading dog body language, and safe interactions. The walk will take place on paved and packed dirt paths at an easy pace, with plenty of time for breaks, water, and dog cuddles. No prior dog-handling experience is needed—just comfort being around larger dogs and a willingness to learn while enjoying a low-key walk in the park.
