What To Expect:
Join Outdoor Recreation for an unforgettable weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico, during the world-famous Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Throughout the weekend, you'll experience the excitement of seeing hundreds of colorful hot air balloons fill the sky during one of the festival's iconic Mass Ascension events. The Balloon Fiesta is the largest hot air balloon festival in the world, attracting pilots and spectators from around the globe. Expect early mornings, breathtaking views, and plenty of opportunities to explore the festival grounds and the city of Albuquerque.
This trip is focused on experiencing the festival from the ground and enjoying the unique atmosphere of the event. The trip fee does not include a hot air balloon ride. You'll have the opportunity to walk among the balloons as they inflate, watch mass launches, enjoy local food vendors, and take in one of the most photographed events in the world.
In addition to attending Balloon Fiesta events, there will be some hiking and exploring time to enjoy the beauty of New Mexico in the fall. Be prepared for cool mornings, warm afternoons, and lots of walking throughout the festival grounds. This trip is perfect for participants looking for a unique travel experience, incredible photo opportunities, and a chance to witness one of the most spectacular outdoor events in the Southwest.
The trip price includes: all transportation, all camping gear/ equipment, entry to the hot air balloon festival, Breakfast and Dinner on Saturday, Breakfast and Lunch on Sunday.
